As a first introduction to the Spanish language, my students have loved Discover Spanish’s variety of approaches! The characters, lessons and games all helped to ease them into a new language without overwhelming them with vocabulary or intimidating them with complex grammar. One of the things I appreciate most about Discover Spanish is the small “bites” of information each lesson tackles. Students felt confident that they had mastered the specific vocabulary by the end of each lesson. The program offers a comprehensive approach to learning the language, which many students used as review for their final assessments as well. Sometimes, at the end of class we would put the memory game on the screen and play boys versus girls; it always ended in fierce competition as students enthusiastically try to prove who got the most out of the lesson.
